The Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarship For Undergraduate Students In 2022/2023
The Wells Mountain Foundation (WMF) provides the Empowerment through Education Scholarship Program for young students that are about to resume university education. It's mainly for students that are pursuing their Bachelor's degree in Developing Countries.
The Wells Mountain Foundation offers undergraduate scholarships to students from developing countries. Selected applicants can study in their home country or any other country (must be a developing country).
This financial aid is done with the hope that funding people's education will increase their chances of being successful in life and also make it possible for them to improve their communities.
The Wells Mountain Foundation acknowledges the relevance of power and humanitarian service. They also consider community service as a good thing everyone should learn to do.
And that's why all applicants for this financial aid are required to volunteer for community service. community service will be done for at least a month a year.
Note that interested applicants can only select a university that is located in a developing country. In fact, application to study in the following countries and regions will not be considered.

Host Institution
This is a general scholarship for students in developing countries. There is no specific host institution. Your host institution is the university you chose to study in. This can be in your home country or in another developing country.

The level of education covered by this financial aid is the undergraduate degree program.

All courses offered at your host institution are eligible. But to increase your chances of being selected, you must enrol in a program of study that will benefit your community and add to the continued growth and advancement of your home country.

- Agriculture and Engineering
Scholarship Value And Added Benefits
- Prize money ranges from $300 USD to $3000 USD
- The average prize amount is 1500 USD
- The prize money will be issued to the selected applicants once every year
- This financial aid will be provided to the selected applicants throughout their undergraduate education
- The financial aid can be used to cover tuition fees, handouts, feeding, accommodation and other things
Eligibility Requirements For The Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarships 2022
Apart from being from a developing country, applicants must be people who:
- Successfully completed secondary education, with good to excellent grades
- Will be 35 years or younger on March 1, 2022
- Will be studying in his or her country or another country in the developing world
- Is pursuing his or her first bachelor’s degree or diploma
- Will be enrolled in a program of study that will benefit the community and/or contributes to the continued growth and advancement of his or her home country
- Plans to live and work in his or her own country after graduation
- Has demonstrated his or her commitment to giving back and has volunteered before applying
- May have some other funds available for his or her education, but will not be able to go to pursue his or her tertiary degree without financial assistance

- Clear personal photo
- Essay (topic is stated on the application form)
- 2022 application form
- Personal essay statement
- Two recommendation letters
- Official transcript of grades from secondary school
- Official grading key to interpret secondary school grades
- Official transcript of grades from tertiary studies (if applicable)
- Official grading key to interpret tertiary grades
- Official results from your national exam
- Official grading key to interpret scores on your national exam
Kindly note that the format of recommendation letters might vary depending on the country. Also, to increase your chances of being selected, you are advised to:
- Record all of your service activities (dates, activities, time spent, photographs, etc.)
- Collect your secondary school transcript, national exam results and grading keys to interpret your results
- Request two letters of recommendation on official stationery from two people who know you professionally/personally and can showcase the reasons you deserve this scholarship
- Have all of your documents translated into English
