Forgies Concrete Products have been supplying concrete building materials since 1945 to Contractors and Home Builders throughout the Ottawa Valley and the Pontiac.
We are currently recruiting for a Truck Driver. This is a full-time, seasonal position. The Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products and supplies to contractors and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Work safely and efficiently while preparing contractor and customer orders
- Ensure products and supplies are delivered to the appropriate location at the scheduled time
- Navigating your route using maps and GPS
- Communicate successfully with supervisors, contractors, and customers
- Maintain a positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Completing driver logs and vehicle inspections
- Report any maintenance issues
Qualifications:
- Valid DZ driver’s licence
- Minimum 3 years experience with a clean driver abstract
- Able to operate manual transmission trucks
- Ability to drive safely in varying traffic and weather conditions
- Boom experience is an asset; on the job training will be provided
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
